What is FCL and LCL ?
Full Container Load (FCL):
Cargo loaded by the shipper in a full container at origin and delivered to the destination for pick up intact by consignee.
Less Container Load (LCL):
Cargo loaded in a full container by a consolidator at origin, delivered to CFS facility at destination and then devanned by the carrier or consolidator agent for loose pick up by different consignees.
